GU recognises stress relieving as a valuable and necessary service to industry.
The company has a fully automatic electric stress relieving furnace at our Poynton site with a furnace capacity of 3.5 tonnes and internal dimensions of 2.3m x 1.7m x 1.2m.
Stress relieving is carried out at 620 degrees centegrade with determined soak times and controlled heating and cooling rates. Furnace charts are available on request.
